Your hood switch is corroded/oxidized and defective. I had the same problem and rigged a better weather proof switch on mine.
You could short the switch leads together but that disables the hood alarm switch.

How to disarm alarm 1996 buick park ave

Easiest way to go about it is disconnect the wire to the noise maker. U could disconnect the wire to the alarm board itself but you do not know if there are some other circuits tied into it that will be disabled when you do the disconnect. But if you do it my way there is no hassle.

Of course, when the alarm goes off you will hear nada. My only concern is that when the alarm goes off if it kills other circuits that make the car go.

If you can get a hold of a schematic you can tell what the story is and what to do.

Hyundai alarm

I was having the same issue and just disconnected the hood switch cabling completely. This not only solved my 3 am alarms for no reason but also allows the car to arm the rest of the system, by beeping and flashing lights when arming with the keyfob.

2006 jetta alarm randomly arms

its the battery in the alarm it has an alarm backup battery built in to the alarm when it fails it sets off the alarm, its in the siren part unit. its not usually replaceable but you can break it open and replace the battery or disconnect the unit, but the alarm will not go off, and it does not have a back up alarm horn.

Randomly automatically locking doors

Seems like a problem with the Alarm. First disconnect the Alarm and if problem still persists then will have to trace step by step for a loose connection or relay malfunction.
