On my 2002 Santa Fe, while playing the radio the speakers keep going on and off; but the cd player is fine. How would I gain access to replace the stereo?

Internal electronics failure. Whenever this issue rears its ugly head, we replaced the entire unit as no repair facilities are available.

you need another wireing harness go to circuit city or radio shack or best buy tell them what your doing they will sell you what you need

you dont need to,just remove the cross panel(between the wings)to gain access....

jammed CD ?? honestly havent a clue have you tried looking in the radio manual ,or ask at the dealers

LOOSE EARTH IN SPEAKER WIRING

the cd player needs to be replaced

RADIO 12V - red +
RADIO GROUND - black -
RADIO SWITCH - yellow +
RADIO ILLUMINATE - green/orange +
LF SPEAKER + white - brown
RF SPEAKER + yellow - black
LR SPEAKER + red - blue
RR SPEAKER + green - orange

Audio head 'INTERNAL' malfunction. Non repairable by Hyundai Service Center - solution is replace the radio.

u have to pull back the platic inside the trunk area.push the back seats forward the whole peice just held inplace with calmps.if its the side without the cubby hole then u should just be able to pull the top half of it back to reach. if u need me to explain better email me at [email protected]
