Sometimes blank CDs that you purchase to burn your own music on are slightly larger than the CDs used by recording studios - they can get stuck and the only solution is to remove the CD player and then remove the top and carefully work the CD/s out being careful not to damage anything inside - then do not use them again in your vehicles CD player

Recently the CD player stopped working with a cd inside it says error 1/error 2 after it trys to load it also won't eject the cd at the same time this started the usb also stopped charging my devices

Try to put another cd in on top of the stuck one . don't force it , just push in a little ways then pull it out . Sometimes that will make player eject the stuck one. I would take it back to whoever installed the radio.

Cd player keeps going out when i try to play/load/reject get 'error' message

Take out #7 and #31 fuses. Start the vehicle, the radio/cd will not come on. Shut the vehicle off and replace the fuses. Start the vehicle again and you shoud hear the cd player cycling through the cds. Be patient and let it go through the process. Then play/eject/load cds. It worked for me.

The cd will not eject from the unit

you need to call radio shack or a stereo place to see if they can help if you take the loader out and bring in.

I have a sony audio cd stuck in the cd player. Ejection error displays when ejection button pressed. How did I get it outwithout damaging player?

Try disconnecting the battery for 1 min and after reconnecting the battery, try ejecting the CD from the radio. This should work, and if it does not then it's mechanical problem with the CD player. Good luck and hope this works.

to take the radio out you need to remove the big plastic piece around it. to get the radio out there is a special key that fits into 2 little holes on the side of the head unit.

6 disk cd player error

This is a part failure in the mechanism that loads and ejects the disk, there are no repair manuals avail to either the tech or the consumer, the only place that the factory gives this info and parts to are factory authorized repair stations, bottom line you must pull the deck and contact a Ford dealer in your area for location of the nearest factory repair station. I was dealer tech for 20 years and that is how it is done.
