Have you every had it serviced,if not that is what you will have to do the dealer is the only ones that can service them and reset your light that is coming on.

2003 xtype airbag light flashes 49 .What is this code?

there is a Code 49 that, along with 51 and 52, cover Front Safety Belt Buckle and Seat Track Position Switches. As X Type belts are 51 and 52, there seems to be a good chance that 49 is the Seat Track Position Sensor on either the Driver's or Passenger's Seats (If it's one of your AWD models) or the Driver's Seat in the Diesel (Not one on the Passenger Seat in FWD cars!) They're rivetted to the seat track, so not so easy to get out! Might just need the connector cleaning up.

What is the fuse number for a 2003 s type jaguar airbag

The airbag system does not depend on a fuse, the power come directly off the ECM, the battery MUST be disconnected when working on the airbag system. The only fuse involved in part of this system is fuse #5 in the passenger compartment fuse box. It should be a 10 AMP mini fuse, red in color and that just protects the occupancy sensor and the passenger airbag de-activation lamp.

Airbag light flashing 1-8

If this is for a truck, it has something to do with the indicator lamp for the passenger side airbag. You would need the diagnostic test for that code to fix the problem.

I have a 2002 Jaguar X-Type 3.0.. The air bag icon warning light keeps coming on or flashes. Sometimes it comes on a stays on. Other times it goes off when I restart the engine and sometimes it stays on...

I had this. The issue was resolved by the Jaguar Main Dealer by recalibrating the passenger seat weight sensor. The system is designed so that the passenger air-bag is disabled within a certain weight band detected on the seat (to protect babies in carry-chairs).

Hope this helps.

Airbag light stays on!

You have a problem in the PAD (passenger air bad deactivation indicator) light. You will have to replace the PAD switch to correct it, you can not get the light seperate.

04 jaguar x type sport premium diesel air bag light on. on start up the air bag light flashes up , then after approx 30 seconds it stays on , could this be a faulty sensor ??? or some thing more sinister?...

When the air bag light flashes it is actually doing what is called a "flash code" which can be read by your dealer. The P1000 code is only a standard check code in the Engine control module,The DTC (diagnostic trouble code) will be in the restraints system and the flash codes need to read too...It will flash when igntion is on...will flash then stop a second then flash again giving a 2 digit flash code, then diagnosing can begin
