Serpentine belt is it unusual that a 2003 tracker with only 55000 kms would need a new serpentine belt...could it be the belt was faulty to begin with and this should be a warranty issue?

55,000 km but 19 years. Rubber ages with time, and if this is the original belt, you got very good life from it. I don't think your warranty covers 19 years.

You order them to the vehicle, not by size. The three belts are here with the OEM Parts numbers. Parts suppliers have a book with all the makes, models and years, and that book tells them the length, width and form, (ribbed or plain).

Is the timing belt replacement link with the number of Km (90000) only or also with the car life. In other word my A4 19 TDI is 2003 and has got 55000 km when shall i replace the timing belt?
Even your car Audi A4 1.9 TDI has got 55000 km and the timing belt replacement is due at 90000 km, the car was made in 2003. I strongly recommend you to change now the timing belt in order to prevent any risk!

First, keep this diagram around as you will need it to route the serpentine belt when you reinstall it. There may also be a diagram under the hood by the radiator.
