In order to "drop" a gas tank, you should remove a much fuel as possible before beginning. Once empty, jack up the vehicle (making sure it is secure and safe) and then unscrew the two straps used to hang the tank to the vehicle's undercarriage. Once the tank is down, please refer to the attached videos for the actual fuel pump removal and replacment.

See if access can be through trunk..I"ve cut a square hole above pump in trunk floor on other makes works fine..I've got electric sheet metal shears,,looks like drill..but CAREFULLY use air chisel too
