THere is a class action law suit and a special recall and replacement. You should have received a mailing from the class action attorney. I just had mine replaced at no charge by the dealership. My speedometer would hover at @ 15 MPH or so despite my speed. I might be able to find the letter from the law suit if you e-mail me I'll scan a copy for you. [email protected]
I am getting false reading from my fuel gauge.
Battery indicator lights come on and give me a false reading that battery not charging.
The speed odometer went hay wire awhile back but corrected it self.
I had the fuel pump and sending unit replaced but now the problem is back in less than 2 months.
Took it to the Goodyear mechanic and they could not find the problem; advised me to take it to a Chevy Dealership. They said it might be the cluster.
The problem alternate between one or the other, never all at the same time.
Its a 2003 Avalanche. Can someone help.
Thanks for the advice and help. I was out of the mileage range and the ownership years for the warrenty. I purchase a use one and the fuel gauge problem cleared up and works. I still have the battery not charging indicator light staying on. After I drive about 5 miles, it goes out but everything is working properly. I just have that annoying light to look at.
Again Thanks
