My oil light picture comes on when i start up my 2005 trail blazer truck

door switch that tells it when its open and closed. should be the entry switch. its in the door, it might be built in the door lock mech. but you can start looking there.

change the oil only and use a 20/50 also stick a can of stp oil thickening treatment into it and sell it quick to a dealer for a new or newer motor before it costs a lot of money to put right .a new oil pump or whatever else is suggested is going to cost so cut losses and sell it right now

What's the code that is on the print out that they should of given you? Should start with Pxxxx

start by cleaning the battery terminals, and ground connections

1st check to make sure air intake is opening all the way even though most vehicles are fuel injected these days there still is a idle screw located at the air intake also you might be having clogged fuel injectors

If you haven't bought the part yet and are planning on replacing it ...i'd go to the auto parts store and ask them for the part location. They are usually glad to do this. I know Advanced Auto Parts does this for me.

if chains caused problem and you have driven with them off light would have gone out once it saw everything working properly. look at sensors might have pulled a wire loose with chains. the abs system runs a self test everytime you start vehicle if it sees a history code from last time it will leave light on and look to see if that problem still exists and 99% of the time it will cut light off . but need to have scanned and checked out

you may have too much oil in the truck drain it and put in5 quarts of 40 weight oil

When the ABS light is on when driving there is a problem in the anti lock brake system and you will need to have it tested to find out what the problem is. As long as the light is on the ABS has been shut off by the computer until it is repaired. There could be problems with one of the wheel speed sensors, wiring or the ABS pump. On some vehicles the red brake light will come on too.
