Maybe check the heater fan motor by hooking it direct to power and if it blows full power then it has to be the resistor or maybe the switch for the speed control is burned up.

What is the wiring diagram for an AC resistor for a 2004 Jeep Cherokee

you did not say GRAND so assume it is not.
Tell the country, no such car here in USA
my wild guess in
Europe, where they do exist.?go to your jeep dealer, and ask for the manual.

Jeep Cherokee (KJ) (Model years 2002-07), also known as the Jeep Liberty in North America

so your 2004 really is not real Cherokee, it is re-badged Liberty.
if the blower motor false on high , that is not caused by the resistor block , bad blower./relay./2 fuses ;/or controller. bad.

My 2002 jeep liberty 3.7L the heater stop blowing it was working on the number 4 setting now it dont work at all. no heat

this sounds like the heater motor resistor has gone bad and needs replacing.this controls the amount of voltage that goes to the blower motor to give you the different speeds.if it was the blower motor it wouldn`t have worked on #4 setting before stopping.this us located in the air box as it uses the air flow from the motor to help keep it from getting too hot, usually in the area of the motor and has about 5wires connected to it.

We have a 2002 jeep liberty. The heater and defrost only works sometimes what are some possible causes.

If you mean that the heater "fan" only works sometimes, there is heater blower resistor mounted to the heater motor, (behind the glove box) and if it goes bad, you normaly have high speed only. These are common to go bad, and not expensive.

The fan for the heater/AC only works on the highest setting (4). Could this be a fuse?

no the blower switch on the dash board is at fault the high blower speed works off the relay only which is ok

My Jeep 2003 Sport, heater only works on #2 &

You heater only works on speeds #2 & 4 because the blower motor resistor pack is defective. Replace it.

Heater only works on 3 and 4 setting

Your heater motor speed selector only working on a couple levels is caused by a faulting blower motor resistor. This part is located on the evaporator case next to the blower motor itself. Two bolts remove the resistor and an electrical pigtail finishes it off.The location of this is underneath the dash on the pass front side.Happy Holidays!!

Water temp gage sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't

Likely the temp sending unit has failed. They aren't very expensive. One on 4.0 engine is on the thermostat housing but don't know which engine you have.
Blower problem could be the resistor pack but not sure exactly where it is on yours, it is always on the heater box and generally looks like a flat fiber plate with four wires going to it.

The blower for the ac/heat only works on the highest setting. The 1,2,&3 settings don't work.

Sounds like the blower motor resister is bad, it regulates the speeds of the blower motor, it should be located somewear around the blower motor, 2 screws hold it in the heater box and it has a electrical plug to it.

My blower motor only works on high speed its a 2005 jeep liberty it worked fine last night when i got home i started it early this morning and it would only work on 4

Your blower motor resistor has gone bad. Everytime these go out (definitely happens a lot on Jeep) you will lose every speed except for the highest one. Replace your resistor and you will be back to new. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks for using FixYa!

Heat climate control doesn/t blow warm air when on lower setting

It sounds like the blower resistor is shot. Just change out the resistor and that should take care of it.
