Check your instructions with the fog lamps, I believe you will need to take your car to a dealer to have them activate the fog lamp driver in the Totally Integrated Power Module.

Brake lights and rear turn signals dont work in my 2008 dodge charger

If both the brake lights and rear turn signals are not functioning in your 2008 Dodge Charger, there are several possible causes to consider. Here are some common issues that could lead to this problem:
1. Blown fuses: Check the fuse box for any blown fuses related to the brake lights and turn signals. A blown fuse can interrupt the circuit and prevent the lights from working. Refer to your vehicle's manual to locate the specific fuse for these functions and replace it if necessary.
2. Faulty bulbs: Inspect the bulbs in the brake lights and turn signals to see if they are burnt out or damaged. If a bulb is not working, it should be replaced. It's possible that multiple bulbs have failed simultaneously, leading to both the brake lights and turn signals not functioning.
3. Wiring issues: Check the wiring connections and harnesses for any signs of damage, loose connections, or corrosion. Faulty wiring can disrupt the electrical flow and prevent the lights from operating. Repair or replace any damaged wiring as needed.
4. Malfunctioning brake light switch: The brake light switch, located near the brake pedal, activates the brake lights when the pedal is pressed. If the switch is faulty or misaligned, it can cause the brake lights to not work. Consider having the brake light switch inspected and replaced if necessary.
5. Faulty turn signal relay: The turn signal relay controls the flashing of the turn signals. If the relay is defective, it can prevent the rear turn signals from operating. Consider replacing the turn signal relay if other potential causes have been ruled out.
If troubleshooting these common issues does not resolve the problem, it is recommended to consult a professional mechanic or authorized Dodge service center for a more accurate diagnosis and repair. They will have the expertise and necessary tools to pinpoint and fix the specific issue with your 2008 Dodge Charger's brake lights and rear turn signals.

Location of fuse for fog lights on 2008 dodge grand caravan

Hi Shawn, I'm glad to help! Unfortunately the "FOG LAMPS" or controlled by the TIPM under the hood. Something are controlled internally which is the case with your fog lamps. What you need to do is check power and ground at the fog lamp connector, if neither power or ground exsist then you'll need to take it in to the repair shop. If both power and ground is there then you need bulbs. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Shawn.

I have Nissan TIIDA latio 2007 e-4wd. I installed fog lights with pre wired availability. Now tell me how i connect the switch for fog lights

Run a ground wire from the lights to a good ground on the frame. I usually look for an available wire connection near the battery, sometimes the factory will have extra wires going from the battery not hooked to anything. Other wise, check at the alternator, a wire may be exposed there. Make sure there is a fuse in your new wiring, and run that wire to the switch for the new lights, and then from the switch run a wire to the lights.

Have a 2008 nitro just purchased used without fog lights but the fog grates are there on the bumper. Can hubby cut out the grates for the fogs and install them himself? Are there instructions somewhere on...

They want that much because they have to replace the valance and paint it, the one with fog lights has a special brackets for them, Check to see if there is a nut on the back side of the fog light if there is you can just remove it, the fog lamps cost $110.00 each so thats 220 dollars and they use a special light switch that costs $60.00 thats why it's so much, plus have to wire it in if the Dodge did not come with the lights it may not have the wires for the harness to run the lights. So you will have to run a new relay intothe relay box switch and wires and a fuse to do it, even if you buy the factory lights and add a switch and relay your talking about $300.00
