Check the idler pully. They are usually one that are bad, or replace the belt with a good year gator-back. They are more expensive, but worth it.

When i turn on my car i hear squeaking sound

Open the hood. If the squeaking is coming from the area of the serpentine belt, it is probably time to replace your belt. Also, check all fluid levels.
If the squeaking is coming from a particular pulley (such as the air conditioning compressor or the power steering hydraulic pump), there may be a problem with whatever the pulley is attached to.
If the squeaking appears to be coming from outside of the car, you are scaring the mice or hallucinating.

When changing the serpentine should the tension adjuster be replaced too?

Only if it's squeaking or if you feel resistance in the pulley itself.

2006 Toyota Corolla LE. Loud squeaking coming from serpentine belt area after I start the engine cold. Changed the belt recently but still noice persist. Loud squeaking goes away after driving for 3-5...

It is probably the tensioner pulley that's gone bad. It can be replaced separately, if you can purchase the pulley separately. As to how to go about changing it in such a small space, it's definitely possible, with the right type of tools. That's why mechanics have so many different shapes and lengths of the same size tools.

Fan belt squeaking

If you check tension. If it is loose ..over 1/2" freeplay it is too loose. Tighten. If it feels tight. Then the belt is likely dried out and needs to be replaced... Check tensioner to be sure nothing is froze up. Like water pump or tensioner pulley. Check other belts as well.

The largest(damper pulley, I think) squeaks and wobbles. I have had it to the Chevy place twice and $600 later it still squeaks.

The only reason that this should squeak is if the harmonic balancer is seperating. You would have to remove the bolt, use a puller to remove the balancer, and using a NEW bolt, put a new balancer on. This is a very rare and unusual problem, and usually a misdiagnosis on where the sound is coming from. More than likely, it's actually a tensioner or idler pully (there's two tensioners on this truck), or the alternator.

New serpentine belt squeaks

its one of two things.

1. your tensioner is bad and not creating enough tension on the belt causing it to slip when you accelerate.

2. it could be the belt.

let it go for a week or 2 and see if it stops, if not I would go ahead and replace the belt tensioner.

Do you mean pulleys? Squeaks or Squeals ? Try some belt dressing, or to locate the culprit remove one belt at a time to see what belts and or pulleys are making the noise...
