Water leaks into 2003 Blazer LS(2dr). Whenever it rains, water leaks into the interior. I have checked the headliner and noticed nothing. I have a sunroof and it is not leaking from the sunroof. Is it possible that the drain lines are clogged? If so, how can they be cleaned. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

i have a 2005 blazer that also leaks water on the passenger side but i think its actually from under the carpet rather than dripping onto the carpet , tried leak testing myself to no avail - i bought it in july ( 3 months ago ) so i am headed to the dealer as they should fix it without charge as a pre-existing problem - if not i'll find a lawyer - way too many chevy's having this problem dating back 15 years - thats plenty of time to get things right - maybe thats why they are going bankrupt as everyone switches to an import - i'm a diehard chevy fan for over 20 years but ????

I to have a water problem. It comes from the weather strip around the doors. what I have noticed is that my door hinges have what looks like plastic sleeves that align the pin and those sleeves are broke/cracked. This is causing the door to sag creating a small gap for water to leak.

I just bought a 94 Blazer two weeks ago. After two days of raining in my area, my interior is soaked! I have been trying to soak up the water with towels because I don't have wet vac. Starting to stink. I'm going to check on changing the seals. I could not find where the hell the water was coming from though.

I have a 2003 Chevy TrailBlazer. Everytime it rains my car gets a really bad musky stale smell. Somewhere water gets in but I cannot find any wet spots. I keep telling the dealer service dept. but they can't find it either. Somewhere water is gettting in my car.

There is water leaking inside above my passenger side door when it rains pretty hard?

is the water leak allowing the water to wick up into the headliner or is the headliner getting wet without water coming past the weather stripping around the door?

If it is wicking then fix the weather stripping.
If the water is getting headliner wet with out passing the weather stripping then you have a leaking sun roof.

You can the door seal by sitting in the car while you have some spray water (garden hose) gentle at the frontal and upper door seal.
If not leak there inspect seal of sun roof and real seal with correct type of sealant.

Can anyone pass on some advice concerning my 2008 Highlander leaks when it rains. I recently noticed that whenever it rains the carpet on the driver side gets soaked. I took it to the dealer and they...

I had similar on 02 Highlander. Source was leak from around window trim (rust) and roof racks connector entering and going down the windshield post behind the trim. Gently remove the interior plastic trim piece to the left of the windshield to see any water coming down there. Find source, disassemble whatever is required and use good sealant like supra expert.

Sunroof drain clogged

You may be able to clear debris out by using a long thin rod and pushing it into the openings on the front of the sunroof drain channels the pouring some water in to make sure it drains properly sometimes the drain pipes become disconnected inside the headliner but try clearing the obstruction first and see what happens.

Wet Headliner

You likely have a water leak around the 3rd brake light mounted on the top rear of the cab. I had this same issue on my 96 Ranger Supercab and found that the foam seal had gone bad and was allowing water to leak into the back of the headliner around the light fixture. It ended up soaking the headliner from one side to the other as the headliner acts as a 'wick'. You can repair this issue by either replacing the sealant around the 3rd brake light or replacing the brake light. There are two screws which secure the 3rd brake light assembly to the back of the cab. Remove these and it will pop right out. I upgraded mine to an LED light when I replaced it. That solved two issues at once as I'll never need to change a bulb there again. If you want to be cheaper you can not replace the light and just seal it with rubber silicone sealer.

Interior Carpet Getting Wet

It sounds like a plugged drain line from the air conditioner. Most cars now run in the a/c mode whenever u turn on the climate control (even when heat is on). The passenger side front is where it would be wet, and the carpet and carpet pad act like a sponge and will soak up the water. Let me know how u make out.
