2005 dodge caravan..... headlights do not come on when turned on by switch.... park lights an all other lights seem ok. brights come on when you pull the bright switch back but upon release they go out.

Check to make sure all bulbs are lighted and none are burned out, Check all light side, parking, brake, turn signal, headlight, bright and dim, interior lights, fog lights. 4-way flashers

You will find the solution will be the switch contacts are dirty. This only happens on high humid nights.
Quite possibly the switch, Dodge minivans also have a front control module located under the hood, it attaches directly to the underhood fusebox, if a switch doesn't fix it I would look there.
I am not much of a mechanic any more ,but I do have some experince with electronics and for any circuit to operate battery has to flow to ground.Direct battery to ground will blow a fuse or melt your wiring if the fuse does not blow.If your parking lights stay on all the time then there is a complete path from battery to grd through the lights,and it sounds as though what ever is causing the problem on the parking lights is killing the path to your lamps relay.A wiring diagram may be available on the internt or library.Good luck.
