Try to describe the sound as well as you can. Could it be an exhaust leak?

If stickshift, you need a new clutch. If automatic, you need a trans rebuild.

SOURCE: My hyundai is making a rattling noise

that sounds like what we call "spark knock" that occurs when u accellerate quickly, but yes it will go away in a few seconds when the computer detects this condition. with the economy the way it is it will be more expensive, but try running higher octane gasoline in it, should cure this condition. hope that helped you!!

Check the exhaust for a loose shield. Sometimes the sheilds on the exhaust systems break at the spot welds, causing it to rattle.

What happens when a fuel pump starts to go out?

You shouldn't have to pump the gas for a fuel injected vehicle to start. Where is the very loud noise coming from? If it's from the gas tank, then it very well could be the fuel pump beginning to fail. Sometimes you get no warning. You just get stranded. A mechanic would likely check your fuel pressure with a gauge.

1988 Toyota Camry LE clicking noise during acceleration

start with premium gas or injector cleaner, could be a low octane ping. this may be hard to diagnose with out hearing the noise so the other thing i would have you do is remove the belts and run the engine. sometimes when a bearing in an alternator, idler pulley, a/c compressor or belt tensioner goes bad they can make a clicking noise. try to listen if the noise is coming from the belt area, the transmission area or some other spot. spin all the pulleys with the engine off and wiggle them to see if any are bad

Tps on nissan quest makes loud noise when accelerates

As I look at your letter, which is very good, I might add, here are the few things that occurred to me.
The "loud squealing" should be a belt.
You have one or several belts, and if they get loose, or are worn out ( that includes the belt rubber getting old and hard) they will squeal like that.
However, the squealing also may be coming from one of the pulleys the drive belt or belts are attempting to turn.
If you have a bad bearing in one of the pulleys, you can get that loud sound like " a train".
If you are really careful, a "mechanic's stethoscope" might help you.
That is to take a really long screwdriver, and put the tip on each of the pumps or base of each pulley, and the handle end to your ear, and you can hear the bad bearing "scream" with the engine running.
Be blessed.

Loud chirping noise when acceleration pedal is

There is a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) for this problem:

Engine - Accessory Drive Belt Noise Diagnostics/Tool
08-06-01-008 03/27/2008
This particular vehicle had an issue with pulley alignment, particularly the power steering pulley. Take a look at the shaft the pulley is pressed onto. If the end of the shaft isnt flush with the pulley, it is out of line and will cause a squeal.

It is recommended that you discuss this TSB with your dealer (not local mechanic).

I hope this helps.

Rear acceleration noise

Try rear wheel bearings. The cause a roaring noise that increases with acceleration. Sounds very similar to loud road noise.
