Error codes P0507 and P0102 after replacing MAF sensor

P0102: you need to make sure the sensor is clean; sometimes it get dirty as you are working on an old car. Check the voltage manually. Make sure there is no air leak near it

P0507: high idle... this sounds like a vacuum leak. get starter fluid and start the car. Spray around and check for change in car idle

P0102 code

The P0102 engine code indicates the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor shows a low input. The codes from 0100 to 0104 all pertain to the performance of this sensor. You can try carefully cleaning the sensor with carb. cleaner or alcohol and be sure it is dry before putting back into the air intake tube. You can blow dry with aerosol compressed air. Don't use a high pressure air hose, they have water and dirt in the air and apply too much force for a delicate instrument. To clear the code from the engine, disconnect the battery for about 5 minutes. If the light comes back on have it scanned again to see if you get the same code. I hope this is helpful.

Service engine light

Good Day,

Code P0102 indicates MAF(Mass Air Flow) sensor circuit, low frequency detected

Code P0300 indicates Random Cylider miss fire, meaning missfire in more than one cylinder

The misfire could be a result of the mas air flow sensor being faulty.

Hope this helps for now

Let me know what size motor and if it's 2wd or 4wd and I can get detailed instructions for replacing
