The engine cooling fans do not come on when they should. This includes the AC fan as well as the engine cooling fan.

The engine cooling fan is located on the front of the engine between the radiator and the engine block. You do not feel it through the ac vents.

FAN NOT WORKING

It can be issue with faulty motor or its faulty fan control relay.

Bother are to be inspected.

Test volt at fan relay and fan motor.

if engine at long stand still,the engine temperature will rise about 190 degrees the cooling fan suppose to automaticaly turn on when coolant temperature sensor get hot it cause its resistance decrease causing pcm to send power to coolant fan relays and cooling fans, when you turn on AC the cooling fans suppose to turn on to cool down AC CONDENSOR, IF NOT AC WONT WORK COOLING FAN COOLS DOWN REFRIGERANT SO IT CAN RECYCLE THROUGH THE SYSTEM AGAIN.your cooling is suppose to turn on when engine at a sit still if vechicle not moving as coolant temperature rises at a set point the cooling fans will turn on cool down engine.cooling fans dont turn on when you first cold stsrt vechicle unless you have AC SWITCH ON.if cooling fans dont turn on when vechicle at a long stand still or moving along slow traffic.if coolant temperature sensor been replaced and fuses and relays okay have dealership check see if pcm driver circuit working faulty pcm will cause cooling fans not to turn on.

CHECK TO SEE IF COOLING FAN IS RUNNING.IF NO CHECK COOLING FAN FUSE AND RELAY.THE COOLING FAN NEED TO BE RUNNING WHEN AC ON BECAUSE AIR CONDITIONER PUT A LOAD ON ENGINE.COOLING FAN KEEP RADIATOR AND AC CONDENSOR COOL.FAN NEED TO RUNNING.

there is a fan relay, and an AC relay that both turn the fan on at certain times, including when the AC is on. a coolant temp sensor tells the computer (ECM) to turn on the fan but only when the engine reaches a certain temp. an electronic component locator can show you where these sensors and relays are located. they are not very expensive. your local auto parts store can look that up for you.

Chec your cooling fan relays, they control the on/off

Are we talking about the cooling fans for the engine and AC condenser?? Only one cooling fan will cycle on and off during normal operation. The main cooling fan will cycle on and off as needed for cooling the engine. If you turn on the AC or select a defrost mode on your climate control then the 2nd additional fan will run usually continuously in order to condense the freon in your AC system for cooling the interior of your car and in defrost mode it helps to reduce interior moisture on the glass (defog/ defrost). If no fan comes on at any time whether the engine is hot or cold or whether you turn on the AC or not and you have already replaced a cooling fan relay and checked related fuses then either the fan /s are bad or you dont have power in or out of the fan circuit which consists of several components that would need to be checked. Check the cooling fan switch/ cooling fan control. as their job is to monitor temp. of engine, and turn the cooling fan on and off.

hello check engine light came on first things first check fuse for cooling fan second see if the fan relay checks out okay if so the culpret most likely your temp sensor is out of range the reason for the fan with ac this has a seperate fan relay good luck
