Does a 1987 Honda Accord LX have a check engine light on the dashboard panel?

Check engine light must come on with all other lights. It's called a bulb check. So either the bulb has burned out or the previous owner disconnected it.

The car has lost 1st and 4th gears in my 1990 honda lx 4cyl auto

The first thing to do is check all the fuses in the related systems to see if any are blown, replace as needed, if that cures the problem but the fuse blows again you will need to see the local Honda dealer (or your own Honda repair facility) for further diagnostics of the electrical system. Please do not replace any parts unless you have performed the proper diagnostics as outlined in the factory service and repair manual.

Clock does not light up

There is a buln in the back of the clock. If you remove the clock, it pulls right out, you can get a new (tiny!) bulb from the dealer. If you smack the clock it will probably come back on. These are very common.

Reverse light dont work

On the side of your transmission will be a switch with several wires coming out of it. This is your reverse switch that turns on your reverse lights and most likely needs to be replaced
