93 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

I have a 93 Grand Cherokee, that starts right up when cold, after you run it a few miles and shut it off, you have to make several attempts at starting it before it starts. Ive changed the crank senser, replaced the distributor, wires, plugs and coil. Whats left, I was thinking about going after the manifold air temp, senser next? Any suggestions?

Could be a sensor.I'm thinking more along the lines of a fuel pump or fuel filter. If the fuel pump is going bad..similar symptoms.Would be advisable to install a pressure gauge at the engine, and check fuel pressure when it's acting up.

1994 jeep cherokee laredo no spark after shutting offf at home. Been starting slower and missing the first few minutes before settleing out and runs smoother in the morning. Oil i sold though is the o

No spark can be caused by a bad crank position sensor, or a bad pick-up coil inside the distributor, especially if you can't find a signal to the coil with key on. You could also test the coil, or try a known good one. There is a test procedure for the crank position sensor, but you'd have to locate a repair manual for it. I think it's just running a resistance test across two terminals of the sensor harness connector with an ohmmeter. My son's Jeep had a bad pick-up coil that shut it down, and no spark.
Once you get it running, and if still hard starting, check the fuel pressure.

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee temp gauge high when heat is on

If your "check engine" light is turn on, I suggest scanned the PCM to know exactly what fault code is stored there. Additionally, could be some problem with the "temp sending unit".

It won't start when it is cold but starts fine when warm. Will start eventually if you pump the heck out of it and crank it and repeat quite a few times. I have a 91 cherokee that won't start when it's...

Try cycleing ur key a few times before actually cranking it alot of the time wen a fuel pump is about to go it wont prime cycling the key will prime it. As for the fuel gauge thats part of the fuel pump its called a sending unit and in the jeeps its all in one unit. it sounds like your fuel pump is about to go tho. i had the same problem with my 93 jeep grand cherokee laredo. i replaced the fuel pump and it runs fine now u can get it from your local autozone for about 140. hope this helps let me know
