try taking apart and cleanig all contacts first. make sure you are getting power to switch. Sounds more switches are going bad. They usually last about 5 to 7 years before they start going out.

SOURCE: F150 and F250 Mirror Compatibility

First, after receiving an email from FixYa about my "Ford 1992 Ranger Problem" which was not my query at all, as the question was titled "F150 and F250 Mirror Compatibility" , I am asked for money for the answer. Then they ask me what the solution is, so they can sell it to some one else. Why would I pay someone when they can't even get the question right.
Incidentally, the solution was to ask someone competent.

SOURCE: i have a ford f150 2007.the power windows quit

Check your relays and your fuses first see your vehicle owners manual for locations of fuses and switches ,
Next if you have the technical know how to go further in the diagnoses then the below information will help if not you would need to seek out a good mechanic. it sounds like your master control switch on the drivers door but with out proper diagnoses you are just rolling the dice and hoping.

Hi, I'm trying to diagnose a non-working front passenger side power window switch on a 2008 Escalade. Only the lock/unlock function works. The window, mirror and mirror turn signal don't.

Yes they run a wire loom that has wires that are not used in some models. One thing you need to check is the wire loom because it flexes every time the door opens and closes and wires can break .Also you may want to go to autozone website and make a free account, you can put in the year make and model and look for the free repair guides for wire diagrams.

The driver window doesn't slide down slightly when I open the door and close it ! Now the window bangs on the door frame when I close the door!

have you tried resetting the windows by powering them all the way down and keeping switched pressed the same all the way up. or could be microswitch in door latch

2002 gmc envoy windows roll down and up by themselves

The power windows on your vehicle are controlled by an electronic control module , as are the power mirrors !
Power Window System Components
The power window system consists of the following components:
• Driver door module (DDM)
• Passenger door module (PDM)
• Body control module (BCM)
• LR power window switch
• RR power window switch
• Window up and window down relays in each of the rear passenger window switches
• Window lockout switch
• Reversible power window motors in each of the doors (circuit breaker protected)
• LT DOOR CB 25A (System power for left rear window)
• RT DOOR CB 25A (System power for right rear window)

Your best bet , take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop.

Suddenly I have zero power to my door locks, side mirrors, and power windows. It's an F150 with a 5.4 liter engine. Where exactly is the panel for this/these problems?

passenger side kick plate. pull the harness out, untape it and dry it offlook for the orange wire, i beleive its got a green stripe down it, it should splice into 2 wires about 5 inches away from the door hinges. untape the splice and you have found your corrosion problem. cut the green out and splice it all back together. good luck

It sounds like the window motor is or regulator is bound up. You will have to take door panel off and pull connector from motor and see if you have power going to motor is you do. then the motor or regulator are bad. you can remove motor and install connector back to see if motor will work . Hope this helps.

'98 Ford F150, passenger window has suddenly stopped working, cannot roll it down or up with either switch. Thinking it's the window regulator, any other ideas before I run to the parts place?

Could be the power window motor. The 97-03 MY have a case where the motor brushes get too much carbon dust on them, and a good pounding on the tire ( once removed from the door ) will do the trick.

You can download the signal mirror directions from Muth Co to get the door panel off ( obviously stop at the point of removing the mirror head ) .

When you have the door panel off, reach in through the speaker opening to get to the pigtail for the power window motor.

You can test with the motor still in the door with DC power. One direction is up, reverse polarity is down.

If you need to remove the motor, drill the dimple locations to gain access to the heads for the motor bolts.

Unbolt these 3 hex head screws, reach in and twist the motor out of the mount.

Hit is against the tire a few times, and just plug into the harness and test again with the switch.

This is what I did with my old 2001 driver's side power window. Happened 2 more times and went to Napa to get a repalcement motor, had not happened since that time.

2005 FORD F150 S-Cab Lariat Power Windows not working.

I am having the exact same issue. I replaced my master switch because you would have to hold the driver's window switch and wait for it to kick in. Worked 4.0 for about a week and suddenly no windows work. The lights on the switches work, but when you push on any switch in the truck the window doesn't move, but the lights dim and the heated mirror light illuminates. Both the sunroof and the rear sliding glass both work.

Did you ever find a solution for this???

1999 Ford F150 passenger side window regulator

Whn the window does not work try this, Turn on you dome light. Press and hold the window button. Does the dome light dim? If it does it is likely a physical resistance in the window track. If it doesnt then there is a break in the window circuit. Have you tested the switch. The switch could cause an intermitten concern. The wiring of a 1999 f150 the passenger side switch could cause a concern even using the drivers switch. Check both switches using the dome light trick. If you have a test light place the clamp on a ground and the tip to the TN/LB wire and the WH/YE on the driver side switch operating it in boh up and down positions. Each wire should go power in one postion but not the other. The passenger side wire colors are YE/RD and RD/YE. Good luck
