Check the 50 amp fuse in teh engine compartment fuse/realy box. Also check the blower motor relay that the fuse protects.
Alos, check fuse 9, 15 amp in fuse panel in truck.

Test by applying 12 volts to teh orange/red wire at teh blower motor connector. Use a 10 or 12 gauge wire with a 25 or 30 amp fuse in line.

SOURCE: 03 Santa Fe blower motor resistor replacement

the part you need to replace is the blower motor resistor assembly it has a screw on each side of it with a plug in th middle and for the most part it is on the passanger under the dash behind a black cover stop by a auto store and take a look at one and then you know what you are looking for and at the same time you can find out how much its going to cost i am only going to guess it somewhere around $15.00 to 25.00 dollars.

SOURCE: 2005 Chevy astro van, 4.3L A/c, Blower motor,

It could be a bad blower motor - tap on the blower motor with the end of a hammer when you have the switch in the on position - if it comes on then it is a bad blower motor. If it doesn't come on I would check to make sure you are getting power and ground to the HVAC control head.

Did you check all fuses after replacing everything? If you did not disconnect battery while replacement you may have blown fuse.
Good luck.

Testimonial: "Great. How can I find the location of the fuse?"

2006 Mazda MPV front vent not working

Many vehicles that have both front and rear A/C systems utilize two blower motors; one for the front vents and one for the rear vents. Each blower motor also likely has its own dedicated blower motor resistor to enable independent airflow control. The most common failure items in blower motor circuits are the blower motor and resistor. When a blower motor fails it will not work on any speed setting. Blower motor resistors however, tend to maintain proper operation on HIGH speed but none of the lower speeds; this is not always the case though. Proper diagnosis begins with checking for power at the blower motor. If power is present, the blower motor has likely failed. If no power is present, the blower motor resistor should be checked for power. If power input is present but no output, the resistor has failed. If there is no power input, the fuse should be checked as either one of the component failures could have caused it to blow. After replacing the fuse the same checks should be made again to determine where the power flow stops and why. Fan motor blower not working

According to the wiring diagram, there are only three components to the system. The blower motor, the resistor, and the speed control switch.
The resistor gets power from the switch which is powered by a 25amp fuse. On high setting the resistor is bypassed and the blower motor gets power from a 30amp circuit breaker. The blower is grounded to the body. The fuse is hot in the "run" position and the 30amp breaker is hot all the time.
So you should have power at the blower motor on one of the settings and a direct ground on the black wire.

2004 1 ton dual wheel work van Blower motor not working .changed resister.. still nothing checkrd fuses. have 12 volts on red and black wires at resistor.. no other wires at resistor have power even...

The switch doesnt "power the resistor" it GROUNDS it. I dont have a diagram here at home, but how about the wires at the blower motor. If both are hot, theres a bad ground somewhere. Did it act up before it didnt work? So is it a VAN or a truck? 04 or 01?

Blower motor not working at all. 2003 ram van. checked, fuse, resistor, switch, relay.no power at the motor

the resitor operates ground, if theres no power then its a bad fuse under the hood in the power fusebox, or #10 fuse inside the leftside of dash, power for the blower comes from the ignition switch, double check all fuses,if you had no ground to blower then i would say the resistor, make sure you have a good ground on the test light, then check for power with key on again, heres a wiring diagram to help you, good luck.fd18d13.gif

Heater fan on 2002 Yukon does not operate in front, only rear.

The front blower motor is controlled by the blower resistor module. This is usually the problem with the front blower not working.I looked up the schecmatics and I don`t see separate fuses for the front and rear. But the fuse for the front blower is in the under hood fuse block. If this is good then The problem is probably the resistor module. It is next to the blower motor. The connector from the resistor connects to the blower motor. If you want to confirm this you can check for power and ground at the blower motor connector when you activating the blower switch on.This can be done with a test light.Make sure you have power going into the resistor module also.If you have power going in and no power at the blower motor then replace the resistor.Hope this helps.Good luck.
