This is a very tough question. It will completely depend on where you take the car, what all you have done in the tune up, and what kind of parts are used. For an example. You can buy oil for $.99 a quart for cheap motor oil all the way up to $16. a quart on the oil change. Then on the tune up. Spark plugs, wires, transmission fluid and filter, greasing front end, changing differential oil, etc. That is going to depend on what parts you use also and how much you want to have done. And the same with a brake job. You can buy cheap pads for $30 or top of the line one's for around $200. So it is going to depend on what exactly you want done and how much you want to spend. Also where you take the car also. A dealership is going to be at least 15-20% higher than somewhere like Pep-Boys.

I have a very bad wobble which seems to be coming from the rear end.I think my tires are just really bad and the belts have seperated, but I also need a break job.I bought car used and no history I have put...

You really need to check all 3 to verify problem but if you find the belts are bad in the tires I would change them first as the brakes are not engaged when you are going down the road just when you are stopping also if it is a bearing it is going to be noisy all of the time not just at certain speeds.

Iam planning to buy Audi A4..I would like to know the the maintainance and insurance and other costs related ..

I have an Audi A4 and love the car.Super comfortable ride and one of the safer cars on the market. The downside is the cost of maintenance. Parts and labor are rather pricey. My advice would be to find a trusted mechanic and get some estimates for routine jobs such as brake repair and tune ups. Some jobs are expensive such as timing belt replacement, etc. Also the motor in your potential car is important as far as cost goes. Turbocharged engines require synthetic oil changed at lower intervals than a non turbo motor. Also they all require super gas. Insurance costs are dependent on your company and driving record. The car itself should not command any higher premium than comparable cars such as the VW Passat. You can get a quote from your company.

How to tune up 2008 toyota rav 4

As the cars technology advances, the term tune up is fading and replacing with term Scheduled Maintenance Service. For most of the cars the time for these maintenance service is at 30K, 60K and 90K. You have to choices:
Service your car by yourself, or send to a dealer. Because maintenance services might be as basic as an oil change, air filter replacement, or more complicated as brake job, coolant system flush, brake fluid flush, transmission oil and filter change, and finally as complicated as, timing belt/chain replacement, if you decide to service by yourself, I recommend to Haynes Repair Manual, Specific for your car.
For your car Toyota provides all Scheduled Maintenance Services according to the miles on your car at:
http://smg.toyotapartsandservice.com/
The answer for your question based on Toyota blog is:

Visually inspect brake linings/drums and brake pads/discs

150,000 mile service for a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am SE??

150,000 you should have the brakes checked, check brake lines, tune up (spark plugs, wiers, air filter, ect.) rotate your tiers replace if needed, oil change, be sure to change your cabbin filter to, most people don't know that their car has a cabin filter. The shop should tell you exactly what they would do to it.

2002 Suburban needs tune up....

Inspect Brakes and Traction Control Evaporative Emissions System (E) Inspect all the fuel and vapor lines and the hoses for proper hook-up, routing and condition. Ensure that the purge valve works properly, if equipped. Replace the components as needed. Exhaust Gas Recirculation (E) Fluid - Differential Inspect front/rear axle fluid level and add fluid as needed. Check constant velocity joints and axle seals for leaking. Lubricate Steering and Suspension Lubricate the front suspension, ball joints, steering linkage, transmission shift linkage, transfer case shift linkage, parking brake cable guides, and brake front axle. Ball joints should not be lubricated unless their temperature is -12 degrees C (10 degrees F) or higher or they could be damaged. Replace Air Filter Element (E) Engine Oil (E) Change engine oil and filter as indicated by the GM Oil Life System (or every 12 months, whatever occurs first). Reset the indicator. Never drive the vehicle more than 16 000 km (10,000 miles) without and oil and filter change. The system will not detect dust in the oil. If the vehicle is driven in a dusty area, be sure to change the oil every 5 000 km (3,000 miles) or sooner. Fuel Filter (E) Oil Filter, Engine Rotate Tires

What parts do i need to buy for a tune up

The first thing is oil and oil filter. Replace the air filter, the belt, the spark plugs and wires. You may want to look into a product like Restore if you have a high mileage engine, and maybe even a transmission conditioner to help smooth out any high mileage concerns there as well.

Maintenance costs

Oil change will cost about $200, tires? depends how and how much you drive and quality you buy. Guess you could spend $200 each. Brakes depend how much you drive but a quality brake job will cost about $1,000. As far as daily driver?well this car is not designed for that, and will probably suffer in stop and go traffic. So would need a tuneup about every 4-6 months at a cost of about $2,000. then you need a mechanic that is trained. Hope you can find one in your area.
