Question about 1991 Honda Civic
I have a 1991 honda civic 1.5 liter 4 door. We started having problems with it when it wouldent start when it was hot. we would sit and wait and kept trying and it would eventually start. We have replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump and it started right after we replaced the pump, the very next day we went to start it and it wont start at all. It cranks just wont start, battery has a good charge, new air filter, new radiator, not leaking gas, not smelling gas. not getting any fuel to the return side of the injector, even tho we replaced fuel filter and fuel pump. and like i said it started fine right after we put in the new pump, at 11 at night and it was about 8o degrees outside. Please help!
I had the exact same problem - the solution is to replace the main relay (or just run a soldering iron over it's contacts). I have a '91 Honda Civic Hatchback and it now runs beautifully after I retouched the solder on the circuit board of that relay.
