There are different colors of antifreeze ( green, red and a kinda purple color one ) -- it is not always the color that you are looking for as much as what type. there are two types - propylene glycol and ethylene glycol,, the kind most commonly used in vehicles is the propylene glycol. if you go to your local auto parts store they will have it. make sure you get the water to antifreeze ratio mix correct for the temperature of the area that you live.

Color doesn't make difference as long as it's a good quality Ethylene Glycol solution. Many manufacturers make there's in different colors to exaggerate their brand. BMW is blue, Range Rover is pink, then brand names do the same Prestone is Green, Peak is blue and the list goes on. Get yourself an anti freeze tester from any good auto parts store -- test it for potency and you'll be able to rest assured.
