I just bought a 1997 malibu, not of the gauges are working. The odometer, tac, fuel gauges are working. The only thing on the dash board working is the check engine light and airbag light. We have check all three fuse panels and none of the fuses are blown. Has anyone had this problem?

Just had a new fuel pump installed in 2002 Chevy Malibu. Worked great for about a week and then the fuel gauge started reading "empty" when the car has a full tank of gas. What happened?
The problem is with your car's fuel level sensor which is located inside the gas tank and attached to the fuel pump, open the fuel pump and try cleaning the fuel level sensor parts it should be fine.
Hope it helps and please don't forget to rate the answer it helps me, thanks!
