I HAVE ANITFREEZE LEAKS FROM MY 2000 CHEVY S10 BLAZER. IT'S HARD TO TELL BUT THE LEAK SEEMS TO BE COMING FROM UNDER THE MOTOR RATHER THAN FROM THE RADIATOR OR ANY HOSE I CAN SEE.

This motor does not have freeze plugs. However there is a tube with an o ring that runs under the intake manifold that can leak and run betweem the block amd transmission.also check that the manifold between the heads or one of the hoses under the throttle body is not leaking and running down the back of the block.

spray from hose during heat soak after shutting off.
possible head gasket leak. leaky crossover between heads. or
cracked /broken head.

The 2000 4.3 will fit in the Blazer. If the engine previously in the Blazer was a 4.3, it should be a direct changeover. Any parts differences you can use the parts off the old motor to make it work. Some connections may be different, but can be worked around.

Have you changed the fuel filter lately? If not do so. Sounds like fuel restriction. Filter usually on frame rail passenger side. Good luck!

you could have a expansion plug on the left side of the engine block leaking antifreeze,if your blazer is a 4x4 remove the skid plate under the front bumper and you should be able to see where its leaking from,a water pump will be a steady drip while its running usually but a expansion plug will pour out very fast

I would guess $500 - $1500 to do this job depending on how much damage was done when the arm was bent.

I think $400 obo is an okay price, can't get much lower for a vehicle that will get you to the store and back.

I had a 2000 blazer do the same and it was a vacuum hose leak by a little box in the middle of the firewall.

On my brother's blazer the hose leak was under the top part of the driver's side fender.

i would say its in the dash unfortunately you will have to pull it out to inspect.
