My transmission fluid turned brown. I beleive from getting hot.The bad radiator I think caused this. Should I change the fluid or leave it alone?

You are right to look at the tranny fluid as worn...as it has turned brown. This happens naturally over time and mileage. Depending on the mileage, sometimes it is not recommended to open the transmission pan to change fluid and filter. If over 100,000 miles, check with your local shop for tranny flush or fluid filter change per warranty consideration. You can add a bottle of Lucas Oil Transmission Stabilizer to your tranny without having to drain any fluids. I have used this often on higher mileage cars with great success. The bottle costs about $11. even at your local Walmart:) Read the instructions carefully as the full bottle contents need to be added with engine running and tranny warm. Hope this helps.

I have 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid and now it has about 90K mileage on it. I never change the transmission oil for it. Since it's transmission is eCVT, do i need to change the transmission fluid at all?

yes, it is always recommendable to change the transmission fluid in cars and trucks, look at your owners manual , it will tell you when you should have changed the fluid and how often.

Should I have the oil in transmission changed?

I would not go by the oil change company recommendation.
It's much better to go by the car manufacturer's recommendation. Look in your owner's manual for the recommended time/mileage to change the transmission oil and filter.

Transmission fluid change, how much fluid, what kind are there any filters.

Hi. This particular vehicle will hold approximately 3.4 Quarts of standard automatic transmission fluid. The filter must be changed, as well. If you are running the 4wd version of this vehicle, I would recommended the Lucas Semi-Synthetic Multi Vehicle ATF brand. For a 2wd unit, I would recommend the Castrol High Mileage ATF brand.

NOTE_ Most manufactures will require a special transmission oil fill tool. This is usually not available to the general public. In this case, you will need to refer to your dealer for proper procedure. Usually there will be a transmission dip stick visible under the hood area if your transmission oil can be changed with the more familiar procedures used throughout the years. Additionally, if this is a standared transmission. Any gear oil will do. Preferably differential gear oil(standard blend)
