I have the same problem, but it is contained to the tail lights.  i'm thinking i might have to rewire them from the dash board but would like it if i didn't have to and there might be an easier solution.

Yup count me in on the same problem. I'm going to check my taillights to see if they're out. Someone said it's like a warning thing that the dashboard won't work to let you know your taillight is off. Then why wasn't that in the manual? Couldn;t Nissan just make a "your taillight is messed up" sign?

I also posted on this issue, all fuses are good and bulbs are good. The other lights are fine, radio plays, AC light comes on. Lighter works. Turn, emerg, signals all work

I have the same problem! I can turn my headlight "switch" on and off several times and they will come back on. Any ideas on fixing it?

Brake lights wont work and dies in 6" of water

Check brake light connectors for green residue if so spray with WD40 to clean. Also change bulbs even though they look ok they could still be knackered.

The dash lights and tail lights are not working but everything else lights properly. All the fuses are good. What next?

dash lights, tail lights, park lights and plate lights do share the same source of power for pickups.
try to replace your dash light and tail light bulbs, it would probably solve your problem.

My 94 Blazer digital dash lights just went out all of a sudden. The speedo still works, but that's all. Any suggestions?

Check and see if you have tail lights. Some models, the dash lights will go out to get your attention when your tail lights are not working. Check your fuses with a test light or volt meter.

The dash light dont work? in my 90 toyota pickup 4x4

if your dash lights don't work, it could be a fuse in the fuse panel located under the driverside dash board. be aware that if it is the fuse, you also wont have any tail lights either when you turn your lights on. Just brake lights.

No 4 wheel drive, no dash lights, no tail lights!

check your relays first (after the fuses) and the vacuum lines if you have those for the 4 wheel drive. Hope that helps

94 ford f350dash lights and tail lights not working

You may have a bad light switch or a bad wire at the light switch.
Only way to know is to remove the switch.

No dash lights or tail lights 94 jeep cherokee

this is a fuse I honestly believe check them with ohm meter. Lots of cars if you have a tail light out the dash light will not function also. I hope this helps

Dash board lights out and tail lights working intermittently

Looks like a bad headlamp switch. Poor contact inside the switch contacts will cause this issue.
