2007 Dodge RAM My rear running lights work. Drivers rear brake light and third brake light work, but passenger rear brake light does not work. Lights are LED.

You have a short in the cross over wire. Almost all cars and trucks have one main break wire with a second wire "y" in off to the passenger side . You could just wire in a cross over and disconnect the old one.

The whole rear passenger side tail light distorting to a melting

Sounds like you might have gotten a bad connection in the light and the increase resistance caused increased temperature causing the lens to melt. I would think you need to find a replacement tail lamp.

Passenger tail light inoperational. i switched the harnesses and the driver side works when i switch the female ends. found a frayed wire on the passenger side... spliced it and did not get any changes. ...

check the driver side! Usually those old subs were wired to use the driving side first and then pigtail over to the passenger side... Also, alot of the tail light problems are caused from mud & snow piling up behind your back bumper... this cause weight on the wires and SNAP! Tail lights stop working! You're just going to have to follow that wire harness back until you find it! By the way, Check your ground behind the tail light covers! They also tend to rust and loose connections! Another problems are the sockets going bad! I replaced mine about once evey 5 years... annoying, bad got to love suburbans!

2002 Toyota highlander passenger brake light not working

RE: 2002 Toyota Highlander 2.4cyl. 4X4 Base Model

I am a Certified Technician and have basic knowledge with electronics in electrical wiring. I searched the web and discovered this is a common problem.

I fixed the problem and it was a simple procedure... The problem is with the reverse light socket at the side with no brake light. This socket functions as a hub to direct current to the brake bulbs.

Remove reverse light socket and re-seat bulb. Check for loose or broken prongs. Replace if necessary.

Swap the reverse socket with the other side.
