Changing the headlamps on this year BMW may require removal of the front bumper. I would recommend that you take it a BMW dealer for repair.

Have headlight problem 2002 chevy malibu v-6 on the dim side have electria current on both wires to the blub bright beams function normal

if you have power to both headlight plugs for each low and high beam filaments and the ground is good as you say the high beams function normally then you either have bad low beam bulb filaments, poor or dirty connection or you have a daytime running headlight relay on the car and that is the problem with the low beam lights.yes the high beams will work but not low beams if it is the relay.

you can run a wire to head light from batt to check if blub is good , if good then dis connect batt and test wires for break, then switch.

Low beam headlight will not come on

Hi,
With the low beam switched on, see if you're getting power at the wire connection to the bulbs. If so, there may be a bulb grounding issue. If not, there may be a light dimmer switch issue. Just a quick observation but I hope it helps.
Good luck!

Daytime running lights and high beams dont work replaced blubs and relay and light switch still nothing low beams working normal need answer and locations

youre looking at damaged wiring, usually in the front harness, there is a connector near or under the battery, chek for continuity from there to the headlights, and don't forget to check the grounds, this can take hours to do so have patience

How can I change the headlight on a 2001 optima

You may have to take out the battery, there are 2 round gray colored covers that screw out located in front of your battery that correspond to the location of the head lights, one is for the high beam and the other is low beam. once the covers are off, unplug the wire that is attached to the blub, there is a retainer spring that holds the blub in, take each side and push down and out and the blub should come right out. be careful not to touch the new blub with your fingers, only touch the base.

Headlights, high beams

No as a rule they don't fail at the same time, in fact it is unusual for the hi beam to fail ever, the problem is most likely in the turn signal/multifunction switch, this does cause your problem, have seen it many times.
