SOURCE: fans wont starton my 1992 buick regal

First things to check would be fuse(s) at dash & under hood, as well as rad fan relay & possibly coolant temperature sensor.

1988 buick regal stalls and restarts stalls and restarts

Sounds like a relay or coil failing.
To proceed you would need to find out if you are loosing spark to the plugs or fuel pressure to the injectors when it won't start.

The fuel gauge on my '88 Buick Regal limited is not working. I'm not sure where I should start looking, in the dash console area or the fuel tank itself. Any advice as to how to go about repairing it?

It sounds like a problem with the fuel gauge sender unit in the fuel tank which is has worn out and gone open circuit and needs replacing.
