2005 elantra, the clock light and radio will stay on when engine is turned off. After I shut off the engine, I push the off button on the radio and it will turn off. The clock light is still on.

My Ford 2005 Focus clock/radio is possessed.

Check engine light would have nothing to do with this ! Check engine light is for engine codes ! there is a problem with the radio it self ! or SJB - smart junction box , ford's BCM - body control module . You should take it to a qualified repair shop . or ford dealer !

Radio will stay on after I turn off my truck.

This sounds like an ignition switch problem.
The accessory is staying on after it should be off.

You shorted something out. Check all fuses and relays. I think you blew a relay not a fuse.

The clock resets itself to 12:00 when restarting the 2005 Buick Rendevous. Sometimes if you are really careful how you turn the ignition, the time will stay as set, buy not very often.

maybe you should check your battery condition. the voltage should be 12.3-12.8V. many times the voltage is not enough to cranck the engine and supply all the other devices. Try to turn on the radio and then crank the engine. if the radio stay on and the clock reset then the problem is inside the clocks mechanism. hope helped.

Adjust Clock

Turn the radio off then hit the clock button. You can then use the volumn button to adjust the time. It took me a while to figure it out too, LOL.
