I have a 2005 f150 fx4 have replaced battery every winter because when it gets cold the truck won't start, It is not the battery because dash lights, door chimes all work but truck won't even crank (dead). Ford insist that it is the battery.

I have a 2004 chevy surban that keeps blowing the ignition fuse what can cause this

You have a direct short to ground on that power feed circuit . You need to find a power distribution diagram to see what all gets is power from that fuse . Isolate the circuits till the fuse doesn't blow any more , then trace out that circuit that blows the fuse .

Which Ignition fuse ? Which fuse box is it in ? under hood , passenger compartment ?
IGN A
40A
Ignition Switch RUN, START, RUN/START/ACCY
IGN B
40A
Ignition Switch RUN/ACC, RUN/START
Could be ignition switch problem , Chevy has had problems with them .

Ignition fuse blown

Depending on which fuse is blowing, you'll have to check the circuits involved for a short to ground.
IE - if it is the fuse for the key switch those circuits will need to be checked.

My guess would be the anti theft security system. When this system starts to fail, it turns off the starter from the ignition. The fact that you can hard start it proves this. Sounds like there's a grounded wire somewhere between the ignition switch and the solenoid. When you bypass the switch with the screwdriver you don't ground out the line, but with the switch the ground shorts the circuit, blows the fuse, and then won't start the engine.

Ignition coil fuse is in slot #33. Ignition switch feed is slot #102. One touch Integrated Start is at location D02. There's a fuse box inside your truck and under the hood.
