I think there should be another fuse for the dash lights and radio and dome (or interior or courtesy it may be designated). Recheck all of those fuses under the dash, I believe one has blown out. This is when a wiring diagram comes in handy-you can see the fuse lay-out, and what circuits each one serves.
check the ground leg to your engine.. it runs off the neg. battery terminal. will connect to frame and engine.. pull it off, wire brush it put it back.. you radio will work, 'cause it draws much less current, and is grounded in dash.
If you had said the radio did not work, I would say it was the key switch or a large fuse or fuseable link. But the radio is powered thru the key switch. The problem could still be the key switch or a major fuse, I would check all of the fuses then power at the key switch. Also check the ground connections.
The
security system does not disable the starter, it only disables fuel to the
engine. In the fuse block under the hood, locate the STARTER relay. Place your
hand on this relay and see if it clicks while someone else turns the key to
start...if the relay is ok then the starter itself is faulty. Good luck, i hope this helps.
Check under the hood and look at the fuses. The fuse box is located on the passenger side above the battery. If the fuses test good, reseat the fuses. I hope this helps.
