Please check your fuse box for a blown fuse under dash,usually found on drivers side. also check handbook in glove box for fuse box and fuse location of tail light fuse location. not very familiar with location of your fuse box location, it may be under dash on drivers side,or may be located on dash panel on drivers side when you open the door look for a pop out panel at the drivers end of dash. you most likely only have a blown fuse. tail lights are what fuse you're looking for. merry christmas! hope this helps! and as always, if you need further assistance, please repost your question and an expert will be happy to assist!

SOURCE: Tail Light and License Plate lights stopped working
With light switch on, test the wires leading up to the mentioned lights with a test light(cost about 5 or 6 bucks at wal-mart) that way u can eliminate any corrosion questions and get to the source quicker, if test light indicates that the wire is hot, than check connection areas for any wear and tear and possible carbon corrosion. Check lightbulbs, my license plate light stopped working and wire was hot, but wouldnt turn on due to the housing base, got too dryrotted and wouldnt function propery, had to rig it up, but works now.

check the fuse with a test light on both sides of the fuse,

SOURCE: tail lights and reverse lights out.
Check the bulbs for the tail/brake lights. If you put in single filament bulbs it will be on from the tail light voltage and the brakes will not show.
Try this;
Turn off the lights, press the brake pedal. Look at the brightness of the brake lights.
Now turn on the lights. Look at the brightness of the lights. If is the same as before the bulbs are wrong. You need two filament bulb.
