Just a little bit tongue in cheek, but I'd suggest making sure the garage do it after they have completed the service.......
How to turn off Regular Service reminder sign of Volvo XC90
1. Turn key position 1 (where radio turns on)
2. Press the odometer reset button and hold it.
3. Turn key position 2 (where the car operates before the starter motor runs)
4. The odometer resets to 0.0, and after a while the odometer goes back to the previous number (none 0.0).
5. Release the odometer button right away.
6. Done. Turn key off, and try again to see the sign disappears.
