At 150000 miles the plugs start to fail under hard acceleration the higher compression blows out the spark before it ignites the fuel. Random cylinder misfire causes the check engine light to come on. change the plugs!
It seems that you have tried many things, paid various people (mechanical wizards) for different repairs that may have been unnecessary because they did not solve your problem, yet you did not take the advice of the Honda people. You can keep trying your luck with non-Honda repairs but my point of view is that you should two the car to the nearest Honda Service Center. Maybe they will identify a design flaw that will require a recall and your repairs will be free of charge.
You'll have to figure out if it is a fuel or ignition problem. Is the check engine light on ? Have you checked for trouble codes ? It could be a coil, spark plugs, fuel pump, fuel filter, or a list of other things.
check your fuel filter, take an air compressor and blow air through the "in" end if no or little air is coming through then just replace the filter, if fuel filter is ok then try a fuel additive to clean your injectors which are a very common problem when the engine gets gunky build up on them
