Need a diagram to put together a 1989 caddilac eldorado power steering, tilt and telescope steering wheel and column.

Excellent tutorial here that helped me when I had a loose steering wheel on my 1988 Deville.

This one is not from an 89 Eldorado, but all GM Tilt/telescoping steering columns from that time are virtually identical:

Steering column is very loose; so do I replace it or can it be repaired without removing it? Where can I see the photos or diagrams of the steering column?

Would help to know what column. Is it the old round column???
Is it tilt and is it moving about where it tilts?
If yes, the column can stay in the vehicle. You will need some specific tools to do this. Amoung other tools you need, a steering wheel puller, Lock plate tool, possiby male torx bits/drivers (depending on year), for certain torx female socket and a tilt pin removal tool.

And it is somewhat a complex job for someone that has not done it before.

1988 chevy truck w/tilt steering column need disassembly instructions or diagram to replace muti function wiper switch

This can be found in the Hanes repair manual that you can get at any auto parts store, Auto Zone, step by step with photos. Not a hard job but you will new a steering wheel puller to get the lock ring out and the wheel off.

  1. If not already done, disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Unfasten the horn pad, then remove the steering wheel. For details, please refer to the procedure earlier in this section.

If necessary, using locking pliers with a piece of rubber (such as a spark plug boot) between the jaws to help prevent damage to the tilt lever during removal.
  1. If equipped, remove the tilt lever from the steering column by grasping the lever firmly and twisting counterclockwise, while pulling it from the column.
  2. Remove the upper and lower steering column covers.
  3. Remove the dampener assembly, then unfasten and remove the switch assembly from the vehicle.

To install:
  1. Position and secure the switch assembly.
  2. Install the dampener and the upper and lower steering column covers.
  3. If equipped, attach the tilt lever to the column.
  4. Install the steering wheel, then fasten the horn pad.
  5. If equipped, enable the SIR system, as outlined in of this repair guide.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.

Steering column very loose need diagram to see where to look for the problem the steering wheel is very wobble from the tilt part up to the wheel itself. need to see if bolts are broken in it or does the...

This problem is very common, your best bet is to go to the nearest junk yard and look for a new column. The amount of work needed to try to get into that u joint isn't worth it and matching up the u joint at your local parts store can be a nightmare. Swapping out the column is a twenty minute job. I grabbed a column from a GMC and just swapped the horn button from my chevy, you'd never know it wasn't orginal.
