It should be INSIDE of the ECM inside of the driver's side fender. I had a 90 Dodge Ramcharger and had to modify a GM alternator (change the pulley, make a spacer) and run it for a year until I found the correct ECM. The GM alternator has an internal regulator so it'll bypass the faulty circuit in the ECM. Bolt the main power lead (from your harness/alt "plug" to the back of the GM alt where it's supposed to go. Tape off the 2 exposed leads on your harness, and jumper the Gm terminal from one to the other (make sure it's a 2 prong older GM alt). Other than that, you'll have to locate an ECM. Try Car-Part.com. I wish I could have helped more. If I have, please rate my assistance and leave a testimonial to assist others with a similar problem to locate this information, Thanks and Happy Holidays.

Testimonial: "thank you very much , the information was great . Merry Christmas to u and yours. "

bbbman78 - I.ve had this problem several times. I hadn't actually thought of swapping alternators. Sounds like this could work. (Gave ya a "Thumbs Up".) How I have done this is to cut the Field and Stator wires in the alternator harness an splice in some wires and run them to an old Ford electronic regulator that I mounted on the firewall or fender area.....same principle, but probably a little cheaper than an alternator swap. The problem I have been having with Chrysler PCMs is that everyone around here is only doing the "remove yours and send it in for repair" thing...bummer, ties up customer's vehicle for weeks!

I actually located one out of a dodge van that wasn't supposed to work (5.9)but I took the chance and have sold quite a few of them since without a problem. I've interchanged the 8 cyl Ramcharger, Ram van, and the Dakota...believe it or not...5.2 and 5.9 have interchanged repeatedly...without a problem.

The only problem is that it has to be taken out of a vehicle that runs and can be tested, or one with visible damage (accident/wreck etc...) as it was probably running fine when it had the collision. I have a few where I work as I've saved them for just this reason. Mwah ha ha

Where is the fuel pressure regulator located on a 1988 Dodge B-150 van, 5.2 liter? I've been told it's on the fuel rail. Where is the fuel rail?

If you have throttle-body fuel injection, you don't have a fuel rail. The fuel pressure regulator should be mounted to throttle body.

1988 honda accord voltage regulator.Where is it located at?

The voltage regulator is probably in the alternator. I don't think nowdays you can buy voltage regulator separate. If the voltage regulator is bad, you'll need to buy an alternator.

Fuel Filter

if you have a throttle body fuel injection the filter is most likely a canister type filter inside the frame on the drivers side close to the shifter linkage.
