The
Lincoln Continental flasher is integrated into the "Multifunction light
control module" part # 13c788. Cost junk
yard around $50. There is no stand alone flasher relay as in the older
or more senseably engineered and cheaper cars.
Hope helps.
Testimonial: "Thanks so much. I was afraid it was something like that. Another better idea by Ford!"
Where is that located? Mine hasn't worked since I purchased the car.

Get a can of electronic cleaner spray hazard button while turning it on and off. Blinkers r controlled by lighting control modual, which is basically your headlight switch on the dash, but feed through your hazard switch. Spray the switch while working it up and down. Fixed mine no problem.
Super! I'll try that. Thanks!
Paul, do you know what the unit is called for the cruise control switch on the steering column? I need to replace the entire thing since the cruise button is broken.
Clarify: The plastic cover is broken. Tried super glue - fell off. Tried a rubber glue.... still fell off. Ford wants my arms, legs, torso, bank, credit card, etc etc for a new one. Would like to search for it on line.
Multi-function switch turn signal lever, delay wiper, cruise dimmer. Try punching this in along with 97 lincoln continental. It should take you to an e-bay page with a company called "Parts-Pro" They have different levers, they may be able to help you out. My cruise is on the steering wheel.
Thanks, Paul!
