Sounds like you tested the alternator, how did you test the battery, did you take it out and get it load tested? If not it can still be the be a weak battery.

A bad crank postion sensor can be intermitten till it just fails, causing syptoms that look like you ran outa gas. So its one of 2 things (maybe both in worse case scenario) CRANK POSTION SENSOR, Or a fuel pump. Honestly I suspect a crank sensor if its the 4 litre engine. But like the poster said check the valve and see if any fuel comes out. If so you got yourself a bad crank sensor.

Also heard of some really really wierd issue with the PCM bolts grounding out the ECU, might try backing those out and it just may be
the cause.

I hope this helps (remember to rate this answer).

Dodge neon wont start

slow starting could be a number of things. If the batters is good, it might be the starter itself. If the starter is hot after trying to start, I would replace

I have a 1995 320i manual bmw when its cold it wont start the other day i tried starting no joy the battery ran down and the starter nw has a slow grinding sound it still didnt start pls help

Hi,
Could just be time for a new battery. Take the car to Autozone or WalMart and have the battery load tested. Also have them check alternator output. This will tell you if you need to replace the battery or if you have a recharging problem.....The slow grinding from the starter indicates low battery voltage, not enough to fully engage starter...Mike

I have a 2002 buick le sabre. When i go to start it it is slow to turn over or it wont turn over at all. It is winter and cold outside, but it does it even after it is heated up and instantly restarted...

If this is a recent problem--& usually it probably has had a lot of starter use(can't really go by car's mileage)--then the starter bushings are probably worn out--in which case starter must be removed--have fun.

1999 chevy silverado 2500.6.0 l.if truck sits all week sometimes it rolls over slow and wont start.sometimes it will start.new battery starter and alternator is good.if truck does roll slow then starts...

2 things come to mind, first check and clean all battery and starter connections. second, maybe you have something draining the battery. next time it rolls slow, put on a battery charger and see what happens. also, even though it is a new battery, it still could have a weak cell.

I replaced the starter on voyager it has 3.3 the battery has been tested and good, however after I installed the starter it has a slow role like the battery is dead, and it wont start. the connections...

If the connections from the battery to the starter solenoid is good, the ground of the battery is good and the ground of the engine is good then the starter must crank well.
If there is slow cranking it is due to a faulty flywheel connection to the starter pinion, a tight engine/ faulty timing setting..... assuming that the battery and starter motor is double checked.

Wont start

Is starter engaging but is turning the engine slowly then not turning engine? (that's what I'm reading) If so, check both connections at the block and starter. If reading proper voltage 12v or better, check voltage across battery when in "start" if it drops below 9.5v the starter has failed. (you can turn the engine by hand...correct?)
