Hi there can you help me with my 20006 hyundai santa fe 2.2 crdi. It has pumped all its engine oil into the cooling system and out the expansion bottle. I have pressure checked the oil heat exchanger and all is ok there is no coolant in the sump and the engine runs fine as long as the oil lasts in the sump (not very long minutes). Any help would be great. Thanks Peter

Hi Mark, I've just had the same problem with my 2007 Sante Fe. After replacing water pump, radiator, thermostat, etc, turns out it was the cylinder head gasket. No water in oil, but engine pressurises the water system, blowing water out the overflow. Cheers
Go to www.hmaservice.com and register( Vehicle by VIN). Afterward, you have access to shop manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, etc. about your vehicle.
is your heater set on defrost this will cause your engine fan to run because it turns on the compressor for air conditioner this helps to extract moisture from your warm air defrost and the fan in the engine compartment helps keep it the engine cool from the extra load on the engine this is normal
follow the manual.
but if the dealer has recommended the lower grade, and you want to save cost use it. just make sure that its in black and white that they recommended the lower grade.
