My C Class 220 cdi wont start completly dead hazzards wont even come on any ideas

I have trouble starting my 313 cdi van. Its a 2003 model. When I spray ether into the air filter, it starts. I know the glow plugs need replacing, but even on warm days it wont start. Any ideas?

Go to alldatadiy.com. (I don't work for them) They have the most extensive diagram's for everything: bumper to bumper.

well the problem mostly is from
MAF sensor
so try to clean it or change it other wise check the fuel filter and fuel pressure regulator
