Radio code for 2003 honda pilot, and reset for maintanence light

How do I reset my radio code, I had to replace the battery and now the radio shows the word code. Also my maintanence light remains on after being serviced. What do I do to reset this?

Where would be the cheapest place to purchase a owners manual for my 2003 Honda Pilot EX?

Thank You

There is a little fuse box to the left of the steering wheel with a cover over it. When you take off the cover on the under side of the cover there is a big number (like big font size) printed on a piece of paper. It like 5 or 6 digits long and obviosly numbers that can go into your stereo, like 1-6. If you type it in and it works it will make a beeping sound.

If that doesnt help, call your local Honda dealership and get the code from them. You can also obtain a user manual. All the needed info can be found on this page:

Hi,

Radio Code - in some instances would be printed on a sticker attached to the head unit/stereo manual or in any of the original documents of the vehicle;

maintanence light - assuming no sensor error or computer lock, removing any terminal of the battery for a few minutes should do it, otherwise, there is still a problem in your engine;

owners manual for your 2003 Honda Pilot EX - forum posted manual is available here.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

This is free link to repair manual for you r honda Pilot:

Your RADIO CODE should be on a separate shet you received from the dealer when you bought the Pilot. My radio code was on the "Pre-Delivery Inpection Checklist--Trucks" sheet. Simply type in the five-digit code into your radio using your station buttons numbered 1 thru 6. Note that you only get so many chances to enter your code. If you enter wrong codes your radio will display "ErrE" and it will not accept any more codes. You will then need to disconnect your battery, wait a few minutes and then the RADIO CODE wording will display again and you can start over and key in your code.

Reset check engine light

Check Engine Light can be reset by disconnecting the battery terminal and and putting it back again. Make sure you have the code for the radio before you disconnect the battery terminal as the radio can get locked. You can get the radio code from any dealer.
Another way to rest the check engine light is by using an error code checking meter. You will have to purchase one.
It is always better to first get it checked from a mechanic for the reason of the light to come on before you reset the light as it might be an indication of a serious engine issue.

I have a Honda Pilot 2003 model, i changed the Battery and its displaying an Error Code on the Radio. I have the anti-theft code number, but i entered it and the problem still persist, it shows error code...

Are you sure you have the radio reset code? Look in the glove box. On the back side of the glove box door you should find a small sticker with two sets of numbers. The number set with five (5) digits is your radio reset code. Enter the numbers in order using the radio station preset buttons. If done correctly, the radio should come on instantly.
