My 2006 Special Edition 1.8 Nissan Sentra, stall at the stop and when it does stop the idle is low likes it die-ing. I took it too three automotive places. The first did a diagnose intermittent stall performed throttle body service due to low idle. recommendations - new battery not holding load test, and front left tire has nail needs to be patched. He said he clean the throttle body and injectors around. Paid $ 65. 2. Went to Firestone, where I bought the tires, fixed the tire for free, checked tires and roated them, check breaks, gave me a free air filter, said he cleaned the fuel injectors. Paid $ 105. 3. Sears put the car on the diagn machine and said to make a appt for the fuel injectors if problems persist. The did an oil change and lube, and changed the battery. I paid $105. The throttle body was mentioned at each place, but said to wait and see if everything they did worked and maybe I did not need a throttle body, but Sears said to do the fuel injector first? Cost would be another $ 85. What do you think? My car is idling is off I feel it when I drove home from Sears that was the last place before heading home at 7PM, Started at 830AM This morning. I am very tired, I am not sure what Firestone did for my $105., but I will call tomorrow to make sure it was the fuel injectors. Also call Sears.

SOURCE: fouled fuel injector

If that is truly what he told you then you need a second opinion. You can't foul a fuel injector. The computer won't tell you there is water in a cylinder, they aren't that good. Did he give you a print out of codes or anything? You could have some bad fuel in the tank since you said it gets worse when the fuel is low. Get a second opinion or look at your paperwork from the first guy and tell me what he really said.

SOURCE: ENGINE VIBRATION AT IDLE BUT OK WHILE DRIVING.

Could be any one, or more, of the following -

Plugged injector
Bad plug wire
Fouled plug
Crossed plug wires (hard to tell sometimes on V-8s that run smooth anyway)
Vacuum leak
Leaky EGR valve
Shifted timing sensor

Scan engine for codes and proceed from there.

There is a product called RXP (available here in Texas) that will clean up an engine and gas. Its pretty awesome stuff, and this coming from a person who doesn't really believe in additives.

'01 Nissan Sentra stalling when stopped - shop has had it 5 months: help!

If the idle air control valve is working, the passage may be clogged. Other things to check are the PCV flow and possible vacuum leaks.

Please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r7427423-fix_poor_idle_high_idle_stalling_fuel . These are generic instructions. If you get stuck or need specific instructions for your car, please get back to me with engine size info.

2006 Nissan Sentra SE w/ transmission problems

Where is your reverse located? from you description, I'm guessing it's next to 1st. It sounds like you may have a bad linkage or the knob is off. You should be able to adjust this under the car. You'll see a cable running from the gearbox to the transmission...

2006 Nissan Sentra Special Edition Start Up Problem

Odd that the owner manual mentions the issue - seems that they are aware of it. Given that car is most likely fuel injected it's generally bad to pump the gas pedal as this floods a fuel injected vehicle (works for older carburated vehicles) I'm assuming you are just barely putting pressure on the pedal. This may be as simple as an idle adjust at the throttle body or it may require programming by the dealer. I'd search and see if there is a recall for this. This may be an issue the dealer is obligated to fix at no cost since it's listed in the manual...
