Where are the freeze plugs located in a 1990 ford f150


Typically there are block (freeze) plugs in the side of the block at each cylinder location, and in the ends of the heads. They look like circular recesses in the surface. Hope this helps. :)

What controls the temperature gauge on a 1990ford


ECT sensor controls the computer, engine coolant temperature sender controls the gauge. 5.0? 5.8? 4.9? Then I can tell you where it is.

Check the fusable links on the inner fender of engine compartment. You may have to pull them lightly to see if they failed.
