I had the same problem. Cheap way to fix is to remove fuse. Only problem with that is my power windows were on the same fuse so they wouldn't work without the fuse. Alternative was to remove the bulbs from interior lights and leave the fuse in. The door ajar light will remain on but at least your interior lights won't be on running down your battery.
It may appear if there is a particular sensor fails.
Try reset the indication using the following technique.
Sometimes the problem could be solved.
Advantage is you could use this technique in the future too.
If you can get an OBD 2 scanner off eBay (US$ 6), you could be able to communicate with your car ECU (Electronic Control Unit) using the smart-phone app.
So that, there is a chance to CLEAR all the error indications.
After that, if problem still persists, it means the vehicle need full scan (you can't do this at home, probably seek a vehicle garage).
