Either replace ur ignition switch or replace ur starter solonoid
when u turn on ignition switch u should get a click fron a relay under dash listen for that and if u hear a click then u need to replace solonoid on starter or replace whole starter motor also clean and inspect battery cable good luck with this project

2001 chevy venture van and i cannot turn the key

While turning the key rotate the steering wheel left and right. If there is too much tension on the parking lock the key cannot be turned.
