This should be the 350 5.7 V-8...as long as it is a V-8 the firing order is the same for Chevy's...18436572...#1 being drivers side front...use to confirm #1 on distributor cap...recommend you change one wire at a time...:) passenger side starts with #2 in front...even #s on passenger side...odd numbers front to back on drivers side...1,3,5,7...passenger side ...2,4,6,8...:)

I have been asked many time for diagrams for a 1994 chevy suburban K1500 I thought it would be helpful to post them on tips and tricks so it could be more accessible to everybody.
Firing Orders
To help out. As you take off one wire to replace it. mark the wire with some tape so you can easily identify were it went. You may also want to look at the diagrams below and look at how your vehicle and make sure that someone else has not by accident switched a wire on the engine.

Will not start no fire a plugs 1994 sub 350

Check the distributor ignition module in the distributor. Also check to see if you have power going into the distributor. If you do, It's a safe bet that the distributor is bad. Check the cap and rotor if they haven't been changed in awhile. Order of cheapest to most expensive is actually. Power into dist. Cap and rotor, then Dist/module.

I need plug firing order for 94 suburban..I think I mixed it up

The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 On the drivers side it's 1-3-5-7 from the radiator to the firewall. On the passenger side it's 2-4-6-8 from the radiator to the firewall. The rotor rotates clock wise and #1 plug wire is towards the #7 Cylinder and #2 plug wire will be to it's right towards the #8 cylinder. Good luck and hope this helps. keep me posted ant this is for the 5.7 liter and 7.4 liter.

Changed plugs and wires will not run correctly.

double check , crossing is easy if you cannot see the routing planely . Did you have the cap off , if so is it sitting propperly, down all the way , if it is slightly ascue it will run funny .
