It is telling you that there is a code stored on the ECM and something is malfunctioning (Usually something electrical, i/e relay, fuse or sensor). Have the code read by the OBDII and find out.

Hot to stop engine heat from entering cockpit

The control switch for temperature is faulty, cable must have come off, leaving the heater core flap open. Make sure all cables are connected to the climate control switches. If it isn't anchored properly, it will move freely and not controlling the flaps or valve to position. Cable locks do come off and fall around the assembly, once that happens the cable doesn't have any counter resistance of it's position and move from it's own slack making it useless..

Ctsy/dome lites remain on dimly when door is closed

Try removing one bulb or the other at one time preventing power completing the circuit if the problem in a light. Those ones are tuff to find but second place I would start is removing front door cils and cleaning out and playing with wires in there to see if you can find a problem, also wires in the boot between door and frame, usually drivers side cause it's used more often.

Cockpit won't drain

Open the port all the way and feed a coat hanger through to release the clog. Shouldn't have to go in but a few inches. FYI... Make sure the motor is cooled down and don't have your face nearby when you do this or you'll end up with a face full of antifreeze!
