Open the door and where the hindges bolt to the body of the car you should see a push button type switch.Once you have located the switch, wiggle it to see if it still has a snug fit, also work the button in and out to see if it will turn the dome light off and on.If you can not find the switch, but you find an empty hole about the size of the end of your babby finger then the switch probably came lose from vibration and fell down inside. It will half to be retrived and reinstalled.Repeat for each door untill you find the problem switch. The problem is usually with the drivers door because it gets the most use.

THE INTERIOR LIGHTS TO MY 98 BUICK LASABRE WON'T TURN OFF. I TRIED TO TURN OFF THE CAR BUT THEY STaY ON THEN WHEN I START IT AGAIN. THEY TURN OFF MOMENTARILY THEN COME BACK ON. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

do you not have a switch on dash for them? try turning the switch counterclockwise to turn them off. or you may have a bad switch on the door jam,,look for a plunger swictch on the door jam itself push the plunger in on the doorjam,,if the lights go off, then you'll know the problem! hope this helps!1
